Project Graduation needs your help!
|
Project Graduation is looking for volunteers on all levels and from all grade levels. Project Graduation is a long-standing tradition at Bearden. Parents of graduating seniors host a party in a safe, drug-free, alcohol-free environment at Zuma Fun Center the night of graduation (5/21). There's lot of food and prizes! It's one last time for the class to hang out together. Underclassmen parents can help too by setting up, registering students and running errands while senior parents attend graduation.
Also needed are chairpersons for the following committees:
Prizes/Fundraising - Responsible for soliciting and collecting all prizes and donations, posting prize lists at school, and keeping an accurate account of business contributions. Organize and distribute prizes at Project Graduation. We have already sent out over 200 letters to local business that contributed in years past.
Junior Chaperones - Responsible for recruiting and scheduling chaperones to work assigned areas. We need lots of underclassman parents since senior parents will be at graduation.
Senior Chaperones - Responsible for recruiting and scheduling chaperones to help the night of Project Graduation. We also need parents to come the next morning to help clean up.
Games and Entertainment - Responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising activities throughout the night of Project Graduation. Coordinate casino, music, dance, etc. Will coordinate with chaperone chairman about how many volunteers are needed for the casino and manning of games.
